Getting Started with Achieve HighPoints SES Math Program

Are there any costs for the parent?
No. Parent will not have to pay for anything. If your child is eligible, under No Child Left Behind ( NCLB) Act, the State Department of Education (SES) Supplemental Education Services offers this program at absolutely no charge to the parents.

Does your child qualify for this free math service?
Students are eligible if the child is eligible for reduced or free lunch and attends a Title I school that has been on the "needs improvement" list for 3 years. If a Title I school stays on "needs improvement" status after 2 years, it must offer SES. Please click here for details on how to check if you child is eligible for SES.

How do I enroll my child for this program?
Step #1 : Call your child's school to find out if your child's school has to offer SES, and ask if your child qualifies. Ask your child's school to provide you with a SES registration form and your state approved SES providers list.

Step#2
: Fill in the registration form, clearly mark as the provider you choose for your child, and turn in the form to your school or school district quickly.

Step#3
: Your forms must be turned in by the deadline listed on the registration form or your child will not receive SES benefits. Please list Achieve HighPoints – SES Service from HighPoints Learning Inc as your provider choice. The school district will then pay HighPoints Learning Inc., parent company providing Achieve HighPoints services, and your child will be able to start the FREE tutoring sessions.

How long does the program last?
Students who register for our program will participate in 60 Hours on Achieve HighPoints, Online SES program. Students must complete at least THREE hours Online time in a week.

Where will the tutoring take place?
Students will participate in the program from home during after-school hours. Internet-enabled computers are provided to each child participating in Achieve HighPoints SES Program –there is no charge for the use of the computers.

   Who will supervise the students?
Each Student online sessions are designed for 1-on-1 learning. Math Coaches and/or Qualified Educators will provide support and guidance to the students on 1-on-1 basis .

   What is the program structure?
The students will take a grade specific Diagnostic test that will help us identify their strengths and their challenges. Based on this, they will work on targeted assignments each week to learn the math skills. At the end of each module they will be given a Review test to determine the learning and the schedule will be modified to reinforce concepts or add more topics. Parents will be provided with frequent progress reports.

    When does the program start?
