Work from Home Opportunity
We have several types of candidates that we are looking to hire.  All of these positions require “self-starters” that will be able to manage their time and effectively reach out to our “clients” – the students and parents that we are working to help.
 
 The ideal candidates will have the following:
Will be a proactive “self-starter” and have affiliations with economically disadvantaged parent communities in their school district. (This opportunity is ideal for teachers, tutors, community leaders, and parents who are actively involved in their community).
Will have existing and strategic connections with parent communities and Title I/Needs Improvement schools in their territory.
Candidates should feel comfortable and confident in their ability to penetrate and deliver service to economically disadvantaged communities and families.
Candidates must have the ability to sell parents on Achieve HighPoints, get parents to select Achieve HighPoints as their #1 Tutoring Program choice, and provide service to ensure program usage by students.
Must have their own cell phone, Internet enabled computer, and a reliable vehicle.
All candidates are subject to a background check per state guidelines.
“Eucation Advocate” Consultant – Job Responsibilities:
Provide information on (SES) Supplemental Educational Services and Achieve HighPoints program to eligible SES parents/guardians in the school district or within a reasonable distance from the school district territory. “Education Advocate” will inform parents whose children attend schools that offer SES. “Education Advocate” will educate SES eligible parents on the eligibility requirements for receiving SES, the procedures for enrolling in SES, and the procedures for choosing Achieve HighPoints as the Provider choice for Free Online Math Tutoring.
“Education Advocate” shall fully understand and be able to sell eligible parents on the benefits and functionality of the Achieve HighPoints Program. Training and support will be provided to “Education Advocate” via webinar training sessions from our headquarters.
“Education Advocate” shall maintain and organize documentation, including a list of students to whom Services are being provided by Achieve HighPoints. The “Education Advocate” will then submit this information to our headquarters in a timely manner.
“Education Advocate” shall regularly follow up with students/parents signed up with Achieve HighPoints and mentor students to complete at least 4 Hrs Online tutoring sessions per week.
“Education Advocate” are expected to attend “SES Provider” fairs that take place in schools located in their territory.
Education Advocate will act as a point of contact for parents in their territory who have questions about the Achieve HighPoints program.

Parent Student Counselor
We are currently seeking Parent Student Counselors for our on-line math tutoring program. This individual will be responsible for building relationships with parent ad students for our educational program.  Students sign up for a free on-line math tutoring program. The parent Coach will “own” a group of students to encourage and support the students in completing the math tutoring program.
Essential duties of the position are as follows:
Contact the parents and students and welcome them to the program
Contact every student assigned to the Parent Student Counselors a minimum of once every 2 weeks via the phone or email in the evenings from 4 – 8.30 pm Monday – Thursday. Some Saturday morning work may be needed.
Write a postcard to the students once a month.
Refer students who are struggling with their math lessons to our Virtual Tutors to assist them.
Work cooperatively with Education Advocates when a new student signed up in the program.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with and mentoring children. A degree in education or counseling is preferred. A history of volunteering with children’s organizations is a plus.  This is a work-from-home position with flexible hours. Primary working hours are from October until the end of May or June.
